West Barnstable Depot
Route 149, West Barnstable, MA 02668
The West Banstable depot is an historic Cape Cod landmark and headquarters of the Cape Cod Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. It was built by the New Haven Railroad in 1912, and featured in the 2009 film "The Golden Boys" and upcoming film "The Lightkeepers".
Our Scenic Excursion Trains stop at the West Barnstable Depot on Saturdays during the summer months. Please see schedule for details.
Directions:
- Take Route 6 (Mid-Cape Highway) to Exit 5 (West Barnstable/Marstons Mills.)
- Turn left at the end of the ramp on to route 149 (Meetinghouse Way.) Follow route 149 approximately 1 mile.
- Our train depot is on the left, just before the railroad crossing.
